You'll dazzle your guests from the moment they step through our doors and are transported to another time and world. They'll be charmed over cocktails on our outdoor terrace as they listen to the bubbling water of our fishpond and dine comfortably ooh-ing and ahh-ing over every exquisite detail of our space. Our gleaming hardwood floors are perfect for dancing and you might use our stage and curtain to full effect by pulling them back to showcase your band, disc jockey, or even your bridal party. As the sun sets, sweet twinkle lights provide just the right ambiance, and a disco ball is available to really get the party going. THE FRANCISCAN MONASTERY
AN OASIS OF PEACE
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood of our nation's capital for more than a century, the historic Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America is a peaceful oasis in a bustling city. Lush gardens and meandering walkways, a stunning church and colonnaded cloister walk reflect the prayerful spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.

Envisioned as a pilgrimage site for individuals who cannot travel to the Holy Land, the Franciscan Monastery is a destination for visitors from around the world. The 42-acre property includes full-scale replicas of the sacred shrines of the Holy Land, bringing alive the 800-year ministry of the Franciscan friars in that region. As they have since the time of St. Francis of Assisi, the friars tend to the Holy Land's sacred shrines and people, providing spiritual and pastoral care, education, and social services.

All are welcome to visit the Franciscan Monastery. Mass is held daily. For more information and a schedule of events, visit www.myfranciscan.com
